Input and Output

Kinda random first blog post, but...

I got to thinking the other day, and wishing: If only my family could all go ONE DAY without needing to eat, drink, pee, or poop...I wonder how much time I would save. So, I've broken it down (mind, these are all approximations):

Input:
nursing--10 minutes x 8 = 80 minutes
Gabe breakfast--10 minutes
Gabe lunch--10 minutes
Gabe snacks--5 minutes
Me breakfast--10 minutes
Me lunch--10 minutes
Me snacks-- 10 minutes
Dinner prep--30 minutes
Eating dinner--15 minutes
Cleaning up dinner--5 minutes
Washing dishes--30 minutes
Grocery planning/shopping--70 minutes per week = 10 minutes (daily)

Output:
changing diapers--2 minutes x 10 = 20 minutes
washing diapers--10 minutes
folding diapers--15 minutes
Bathroom breaks (for me)--10 minutes
Helping Gabe pee--10 minutes
Changing Gabe's poopy pants--15 minutes
Dumping potty-- 5 minutes

Assuming I haven't left anything out, it all adds up to...

About 4 and a half hours PER DAY. Wow, imagine what I could do with an extra 4.5 hours in my day, And if I could go a whole WEEK without having to do any of this stuff, I would have an extra 31.5 hours. That's almost two solid days...Wow! I could take a mini vacation with that much time!

Not that I'm complaining...
